DDRFA’s Medical Advisory Council (MAC) will score the applicants’ research proposals and our members will determine which high-scoring applications to fund.
About this grant:
DDRFA grants are targeted to support (i) basic, translational, or clinical research which intends to provide high-impact benefits for better understanding of the brain as it relates to DMG or DIPG, or may improve DIPG or DMG diagnosis, prevention, or treatment; (ii) access to trials or expanded access for DIPG or DMG patients; and (iii) the harmonization, integration or utilization of open share, non-embargoed patient data as it relates to DIPG DMG. These grants are funded by DDRFA members and our philanthropic donors. We look for innovative ideas and gaps in funding which must be filled to move the needle in DIPG DMG discoveries. We hope to assist researchers motivated to work at the speed of DIPG DMG.
